Mahanayim Riverbed
Mahanayim Riverbed

Set out from Rosh Pina on a dirt path, free of traffic, that leads you along the Mahanayim riverbed through Hirbet Yardeh to the Pekak Bridge. Length: 22 km (about 13.5 miles). You may also choose to do half the route, to Hirbat Yardeh, where you can take a break in the shade and dip your feet at a nearby spring. (Courtesy of Of-Nayim, Rosh Pina)

To Karei Deshe

Set out from Rosh Pina on dirt roads and a 16-km (about 10 miles) bike-riding track towards the Sea of Galilee. The route passes by the orchards of the nearby communities to Karei Deshe, where you can take a break. The route back is a moderate incline of medium difficulty. Biriya Forest

Set out from the Biriya Fortress towards Mt. Yavnit, where the height of 905 meters (almost 3000 ft) offers a spectacular view of Biriya Forest, the Hula Valley, the hills of the Galilee and Mt. Hermon. The path goes through Bat Ya’ar Ranch and continues on Derekh Nof Biriya to Ein Navoriya, Ein Gaver and the ruins of the ancient Navoriya synagogue, where we recommend a break and a visit. Take the linear route described here or make it a circular route by turning back after Ein Gaver towards the Biriya Forest. The level of difficulty is easy to moderate and the path is suitable for all seasons of the year.
